Year 2000 Compliant Software he impact of the year 2000 has no effect on the functionality of Multiline Technology products unless SPC data from the Multiline machine is copied and imported into a spread sheet or related database program and the data is sorted based on the date. This is dependent on the machine and database program the data is imported to. Currently, the date is recorded using two digits. For example, June 24, 1998 would be displayed as 6/24/98. In the year 2000, this same date would be displayed as 06/24/00. In the Multiline software, SPC data is saved along with the date each setup was run. Each of these areas displays the date with two digits. Thus, the year 2000 would be displayed as 00. This poses no problem to the Multiline software and will not effect operation of the machine. In addition, Multiline has recently purchased and installed a new Y2K compliant computer for accounting, inventory, job tracking, shipping and receiving. All Multiline manufacturing equipment in our own facility has been checked and proven Y2K compliant. Our banking and payroll services have all provided statements of Y2K compliance.
