Automatic Phototool Registration Unit
Is a microprocessor controlled vision system that automatically aligns phototool film to multilayer panels. This unit eliminates the operator to operator inconsistancies in outerlayer and soldermask registration while increasing throughput and improving yields. This unit is also instrumental in Blind Via Applications.
Adara Press
The continuous foil lamination press that uses copper foil as it's own heat source. The Adara system employs a method of endothermic heating by passing electric current through a continuous band of copper foil. The copper foil is also the outer layer for the final product. The lamination is performed inside a vacuum chamber and pressure is uniformly applied by using an air diaphragm against a free floating piston. High pressure is not needed to facilitate heat transfer.
Artwork Punch - Semi Automatic
Punching artwork after developing is a proven method of achieving the best possible layer to layer registration since it eliminates plotter pinning tolerance and minimizes any effect the dimensional instability of the film will have on artwork registration.
Optiline PE-Post Etch ATP 5000
The Optiline PE/ATP is an advanced, automated system for precise post etch punching of innerlayers. The ATP 5000 is fully automatic and requires no operator intervention. It can be fed from either a loader or a conveyor and it includes all the common features of the ATP's . The Automatic Feed provided on the ATP is designed to feed thin core (.002"/ 0.05mm thick) at speeds exceeding 7+ panels/min. The show unit will feature Multiline's new Stacker/Interleaver.
Optiline PL-Post Lamination
The multilayer panel is aligned by x-ray and drilled after lamination with a new dedicated tooling pattern for mounting on the drill machine. This accounts for panel movement that occurs during lamination and provides optimal image to drill registration. This unit also features Layer Analysis software for measuring innerlayer shift.
Multiframe Exposure Frame
This new registration tool developed and built by Multiline has already impressed customers with the ultimate in precision and performance from a glass frame. It's innovative design gives the highest accuracy (+/- 0.0004" +/- 10 um) in front to back registration for photo imaging of innerlayers and outerlayers..

Multiline has a wide range of Lamination Fixture and Soft Tooling Accessories.
